  1. Sorry you are under the weather – hope you get to feeling better soon.
thanks sweetie — here it is Wed already and I actually think I might live…

  2. (((((HUG))))) That was a great big healing hug! Hope you feel better soon.
thanks – hugs are so welcomed – now could you send me a little strength please?

  3. Get better soon!!!!
and get Emmy Lou to do some fetching and caring for YOU for a change!
    ((hugs))
lovin those hugs — precious pup tried to stay by my side and Devoted Spouse had to literally drag her out of bed by her collar. Of course when I finally braved that first piece of dry toast, she was there, too…and stole it off my plate, that rascal!

  4. One should find something to be thankful for every day, and, in a strange way, you have just now given me that “something”. I’ve never, to my knowledge, have had the flu! I skip the flu and hie myself straight into pneumonia. Fortunately, haven’t had that for a few years. That said, you have both my sympathy and my sincerest good wishes for a speedy return to good health.
thank you so much Mary – I get this every couple of years no matter how healthy I try to be. I’m on the mend and looking forward to getting back to the fully human stage soon. 🙂

  5. Sorry you’re sick, and glad to know you’re feeling a little better now. I get a flu shot every year now, because I’m scared of getting the flu. So far, they’ve worked for me, or at least mostly. Get plenty of rest – the upside – you have time to plan future blog posts!
thanks, sweetie – I once had a horrid reaction to a flu shot and now I avoid them like the plague – who knows what types of bugs are lurking out there anyway; if it’s not one virus, it’s another. Wait…ya mean people actually plan blog posts?!

  6. Thanks Carla, I, too, when talked into my first flu shot back in about 1987 had an awful reaction. Never knew what an allergy was before the shot. I do now. No one, so far, believes me when I blame my “liveable” head congestion, but I’d rather be without it.
